At Ragdoll Kittens for Adoption, the health and well-being of our kittens is our top priority. We are committed to raising healthy, happy kittens and providing transparency to all adoptive families.

Veterinary Care

All kittens are:

  • Examined by a licensed veterinarian before adoption
  • Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations
  • Dewormed as part of a regular health program
  • Carefully monitored for overall health and development

Each kitten will come with a health record documenting veterinary care.

72-Hour Health Guarantee

We offer a 72-hour health guarantee from the time your kitten is received.

  • You must have your kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within this period.
  • If a serious health issue is identified during this time, you must notify us immediately.
  • With written verification from your veterinarian, we will work with you on a suitable resolution, which may include replacement or partial refund (terms can be defined by you). 

Genetic Health Guarantee

We provide a 1-year genetic health guarantee against life-threatening hereditary conditions.

  • If your kitten is diagnosed with a genetic disorder within one year of adoption, verified by a licensed veterinarian, we will offer a replacement kitten or another mutually agreed solution.
  • This guarantee applies only to conditions that significantly affect the kitten’s quality of life.

Buyer Responsibilities

To keep this guarantee valid, the adopter agrees to:

  • Provide proper veterinary care, nutrition, and housing
  • Keep vaccinations and health checkups up to date
  • Avoid neglect, abuse, or unsafe environments

Failure to provide proper care will void this guarantee.

 

Non-Covered Conditions

This health guarantee does not cover:

  • Minor or treatable conditions (e.g., mild colds, parasites)
  • Stress-related issues after relocation
  • Injuries or illnesses caused after adoption
  • Veterinary costs unless otherwise agreed in writing

Transportation Disclaimer

We take every precaution to ensure kittens travel safely. However, we are not responsible for stress-related issues that may occur during transport.
